Hey ya'll... A fitting greeting from down South...This is my new and improved blog.  I guess I will do a little Ms. A history lesson.

Where are you from? Basile, Louisiana Where did you go to school? Basile High School (1-12) College?  Went to Nicholls State for 2 semesters, then to McNesse State University, Home of the Cowboys and Brother Love's Travelin' Salvation Show (college band). What were the most significant experiences of your life before teaching? Church and school, our high school Up With People ( SING OUT) group, growing up in a great small community where most everyone worked together, and Camp Maryhill ( Catholic Youth Camp) where I made life-long friends. College experiences? MSU Band and learning to live on my own. Teaching jobs? St. Margaret's in Lake Charles for 2 years(1975-1977), Immaculate Conception (LC) for 2 years(1977-1979) and then my new home, Ascension Catholic in Donaldsonville1979 to present. All my "kids" remain in my heart...and they probably taught me way more than I taught them!

What have you taught? EVERYTHING ... English(5th), Math(6th & 8th), Science6-7-8), History(7-8), Geography(8), Literature(7-8), Religion(7&8), Physical Education(5-8) and Library(5-12).  Coached, too ... a lot ... one year I had 17 teams! Football, lots & lots of basketball, softball, track & field, volleyball, & baseball.

Well, enough about me...
